Samsung Exynos 2400 will power Galaxy S24 series
For a long time, leakers have claimed that Samsung will launch its upcoming Exynos chipset for the Galaxy S24 series in select regions. According to the rumors, the company will use the Exynos 2400 chipset on Galaxy S24 in Africa, Europe, and parts of Asia. The upcoming chipset will be equipped with enhanced specifications, and it will be more powerful than its predecessor, Exynos 2200.
Samsung Exynos 2400 chipset will likely feature 10-core CPU cores, including a high-performance 3.1GHz Cortex-X4, two 2.9GHz Cortex-A720, three 2.6GHz Cortex-A720, and four 1.8GHz Cortex-A520 CPU cores. Also, it will have the Xclipse 940 GPU with 12 GPU cores. Thanks to its new setup, it will offer an enhanced performance on the Galaxy S24 series.
Furthermore, the chip is expected to be compatible with UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5X RAM. Also, it might have an ISP (Image Signal Processor), which is capable of handling camera sensors with resolutions of up to 320-megapixel and up to 8K videos at 60fps.
Although there are no more leaks about the expected chipset, we expect Samsung to announce the Exynos 2400 in the Q4 of 2023, with integration into the Galaxy S24 series.
