The South Korean tech giant has been working on several smartphones, including the S24 series and two A series. Now, there is a new leak about the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G. According to the latest reports, the upcoming A55 5G gets China’s 3C certification that reveals the charging specifications of the device. Here are the details about the leaked specs of the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G…
Samsung Galaxy A55 5G features 25W fast charging
According to the 3C certification, the phone comes with the model number SM-A5560. When we look at the report, we can see that the A55 5G comes with 25W fast charging, similar to the Galaxy A54, and it doesn’t have a charging adapter in the box.
Depending on the earlier rumors, the Samsung Galaxy A55 is expected to be one of the first smartphones to be powered by Exynos 1480 SoC (S5E8845), which has 4x performance cores clocked at 2.75GHz and 4x efficiency cores clocked at 2.05GHz.
The Geekbench results reveal that the phone gets 882 single-core and 2808 multi-core Geekbench 5 scores, which are a bit better than the A54 with 778 single-core and 2752 multi-core scores. Moreover, the chipset will be probably the first mid-range Exynos chip to use AMD GPU, Xclipse 530.
Although there are no official details about the Galaxy A55 5G, we expect it to feature a 50-megapixel rear main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Samsung is claimed to give more details about the phone soon and launch in early 2024.
