Samsung may be preparing to add a new model to its Galaxy M55 series. The device with model number SM-M558B, which was recently certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance, could be called the Galaxy M55s. There are hints that Samsung is working on this new model and this device may appear as a more advanced version of the current Galaxy M55.
What will Samsung Galaxy M55s model offer?
While Samsung usually adds ‘s’ variants to its budget-friendly phones, it rarely uses this kind of approach for its mid-range phones. However, the Galaxy M55s model could change this situation. Samsung, which recently made such a move with the Galaxy A52s model, now seems to be applying the same strategy to the Galaxy M55 series.
The Galaxy M55s model number SM-M558B indicates that it is a higher-end variant compared to the current Galaxy M55’s model number SM-M556B. However, there is no clear information about the differences of this new model yet. It could possibly include upgrades like a faster and new processor. For example, the Galaxy A52s model had a more powerful Snapdragon processor than the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52 5G models.
So far, only information about the Wi-Fi certification is available, so it’s not possible to say anything definitive about the device’s other features and differences. We’ll have to wait for more information. However, it is certain that this new model will offer some innovations and improvements to increase Samsung’s competitiveness in the mid-range phone market.
