While we’re getting sooner to Samsung’s upcoming S-series smartphone, more leaks and rumors keep revealing. Although there are no official announcements about the expected smartphone, the latest leaks claim that Samsung might launch the Galaxy S24 in January 2024 at a San Francisco event in the US. Here are the details about the Samsung Galaxy S24 launch…
Samsung Galaxy S24 launch event to be held in San Francisco
According to the latest reports by Seoul Economic Daily, Samsung might introduce its Galaxy S24 series earlier than usual, possibly in January 2024. When we look at the earlier launch dates, we can see that the South Korean tech giant prefers February to announce its latest S-series smartphones. Next year, it might be different and Samsung might announce the S24 series at the end of the first month of the year.
The brand introduced the Galaxy S23 in San Francisco, so it is expected to do the same thing for the upcoming Galaxy S24 series and launch the smartphones in San Francisco in January 2024. At the launch event, Samsung is expected to announce three models, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
When we look at the rumors and leaks, we can see that the Galaxy S24 and S24+ will be offered with Exynos 2400 chips for most regions, and with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in Canada, China, and the U.S. On the other hand, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset only.
The regular Galaxy S24 and S24+ may have a 50MP main back camera, a 12MP wide-angle camera, and a 10MP zoom camera with 3x close-up. For selfies, they might use a 12MP camera. The Galaxy S24 Ultra, on the other hand, could come with a powerful 200MP main back camera, a 12MP wide-angle camera, a 10MP zoom camera with 3x close-up, a 50MP zoom camera with 5x close-up (which is really good for getting closer to things), and a 12MP front camera for selfies.
