Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab A11, the newest member of its budget-friendly tablet lineup. This model, the successor to the Galaxy Tab A9, released in 2023, comes with several improvements. The most notable innovation is its 90Hz refresh rate display, making the Galaxy Tab A11 Samsung’s first affordable 90Hz tablet.

The tablet features an 8.7-inch HD+ (1340 x 800 pixels) LCD display. The chassis and screen size are the same as the A9 model. Audio features include stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support.

Underware-wise, the Galaxy Tab A11 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, which was also used in the previous model. The tablet comes with 4GB and 8GB of RAM. Storage options include 64GB and 128GB, and it supports microSD cards up to 2TB.
The camera has been significantly improved. The front camera has been upgraded from 2MP to 5MP. The rear camera features an 8MP sensor with autofocus. Both cameras can record Full HD 30 FPS video.
The tablet, which comes with a 5100mAh battery, supports 15W fast charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C 2.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A 4G LTE version of the tablet is also available.
The software runs One UI 7.0 based on Android 15. Samsung announced that it will provide this model with seven years of major Android version updates and seven years of security updates.
Pricing for the Galaxy Tab A11 varies depending on memory and connectivity features: the Wi-Fi version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage starts at $147. The 4G LTE version of the same configuration costs $180. The Wi-Fi version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs $203, while the top-of-the-line model with 4G LTE sells for $237.
