Samsung has announced its newest tablet and smartphone designed for military purposes. The new Galaxy XCover7 and the Galaxy Tab Active5 come as successors to the Galaxy XCover6 Pro and the Tab Active5, respectively. Samsung Galaxy XCover7 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC

When we look at the specifications of the new devices, we can see that the military-focused smartphone gets its power from the Dimensity 6100+ SoC, which has 2x 2.2GHz Cortex-A76, 2GHz 6x Cortex-A55, and Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. On the other side, the Tab Active5 comes with Exynos 1380SoC. Both devices have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, but the Active5 has an additional 8GB + 256GB version.

Samsung‘s new XCover7 features a 6.6-inch (2400 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, while the Tab Active5 has an 8-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) WUXGA TFT LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover7 costs around 359 Euros (equivalent to about USD 392 or Rs. 32,580), while the Galaxy Tab Active5 starts at approximately 579 Euros (which is about USD 633 or Rs. 52,552). You can get your hands on these devices starting today, January 10th.
