When it comes to foldable phones, Samsung is one of the first brands that comes to mind, and it may be looking to strengthen its position in this market. With its Galaxy Z Fold and Flip models launched every year, competing in the flagship category, Samsung is now working on a more affordable foldable model. Recently, leaks have revealed the features of a device called the Galaxy Z Flip FE. Here are the details:
Galaxy Z Flip FE may be more affordable
Through posts shared on X (formerly Twitter) by PandaFlash X, it has been reported that Samsung is working on a new affordable foldable phone with the model number SM-F761B. As we know, Samsung offers FE (Fan Edition) models as more affordable options for users who don’t require high-end specs. Since there hasn’t been a foldable model in the FE series, this could be the first one.

According to the leaks, Samsung has been working on this model for some time. While no official statement has been made, the new foldable Fan Edition model is reported to have appeared under the SM-F761B number. The device, currently in the development stage, may come with ultra-thin glass, which would provide a similar experience to the Z Flip 6.
As for the specs, the Galaxy Z Flip FE is expected to have a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 2600 nits. The device is also rumored to feature a 50-megapixel main camera, which could offer better photography experiences compared to the Z Flip 6.
While the exact processor isn’t confirmed, expectations are that Samsung might opt for an Exynos processor instead of Snapdragon for this device. On the durability front, the phone is expected to have an aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for added strength.
