Samsung has recently made significant changes to its update policy, but it continues to phase out models that are unable to run newer software versions due to hardware limitations. The company has just ended software support for one of its smartphones released in 2020.
Samsung Ends Software Support for the Galaxy A42 5G
Samsung has officially stopped providing software updates for the Galaxy A42 5G, a model launched in September 2020. This smartphone originally shipped with Android 10 and received two major Android updates and security patches for four years.
