Samsung has launched The Premiere 5, the world’s first interactive triple laser ultra-short-throw (UST) projector. The Premiere 5 allows users to interact directly with the projected image.
Samsung launches interactive screen projector
Samsung The Premiere 5 comes with a triple laser image projection system with 4K resolution. The device can create a 100-inch diagonal image from just 43 centimeters away. The projector can project images on the floor, table, wall or any flat surface, thus providing a functional experience in many usage scenarios.

The infrared laser module located inside the device detects users’ hands and fingers. Thanks to this, when the surface projected by the projector is touched, operations can be performed just like using a touch screen.
Users can perform operations such as enlarging or reducing photos or browsing web pages directly from the projector. The Premiere 5 automatically analyzes the environment and optimizes brightness, color and contrast values according to the environment.
The projector runs Samsung’s Tizen OS 9.0 operating system, which runs on Samsung’s One UI interface. In addition, users can also manage other smart devices in their home with the SmartThings app that comes pre-installed with the device.
Samsung has launched The Premiere 5 in South Korea with a price tag of 1.99 million Korean won, or about $1,377. What do you think about this? You can easily share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
