The new update, now available in South Korea, arrives with firmware versions F731NKSS5EYE2 for the Z Flip 5 and F946NKSS5EYE2 for the Fold 5. The patch size is around 400 MB and addresses more than 58 security vulnerabilities, strengthening the overall system security of both foldable devices.

Although the May 2025 update is currently being distributed in South Korea, it is expected to become available in other regions in the coming days. If users haven’t received an automatic notification for the update, they can manually check by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If the update still doesn’t appear, it may not have reached the region yet, and waiting a bit longer could be necessary.
Samsung’s recent patch schedule continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting device security across its lineup.
