Samsung’s Good Lock app, a tool that allows users to personalise their devices beyond the customisations previously available from the Settings menu, is being updated with a new design approach. This innovation coincides with the official release of One UI 7 and the introduction of the Galaxy S25 series. This new version of the app is called 3.0.10.1 and comes with several new features aimed at improving the user experience.
Samsung is officially renewing the Good Lock app
The new design has been revised in line with the aesthetic language of One UI 7. Good Lock now offers a list view and has a larger tab area at the bottom of the screen. There are three main icons and this organisation makes the app more intuitive and user-friendly to use. In addition, a search tool has been added and a built-in chatbot feature has been included to make it easier for users to navigate the app. Some new wallpapers and two new widgets, which can be accessed by tapping the gift box icon in the top right corner, are also notable in this version of the app.
One of the newly added widgets is designed in 1×1 size and allows you to fit all Good Lock modules and applications into a single home screen area. The other widget is 4×2 and provides quick access to four different modules or apps. In addition, this widget provides visual feedback by changing its colour when a module is opened.
This updated version of Good Lock offers a number of innovations for Samsung users who want more control over customising their devices, with significant improvements in both appearance and functionality. With the release of One UI 7, it is aimed to provide a compatible experience with this update.
