When it comes to innovations in smartphones and devices, the sky’s the limit: Especially with the advent of artificial intelligence technologies, major companies like Samsung can plan innovations we’ve never seen before. In this regard, the South Korean tech giant is reportedly working on a feature in the smartphone world that has never been attempted before.
Samsung plans a phone without a Settings menu!
According to sources close to the South Korean giant, Samsung is developing a revolutionary artificial intelligence system that will allow users to use their devices without ever accessing the phone’s settings menu. This innovative system will learn users’ habits, automatically optimizing key features like the keyboard and camera, eliminating the need to manually adjust settings.
The AI-driven leap Samsung began with its Galaxy AI features is being taken to a whole new level with this project. Currently, users can modify some settings through the Bixby voice assistant on Samsung phones, but the new system will analyze user preferences and make adjustments automatically, without the need for any commands.
For example, the system could learn how the user adjusts screen brightness in certain environments or at specific times, and automatically replicate these settings in similar situations. Or, it could remember the modes preferred when taking photos and activate the most suitable camera settings in similar conditions.
Samsung’s new AI initiative seems to have the potential to fundamentally change how we use smartphones. If this idea is successfully implemented, users could operate their devices without needing to navigate complex settings menus and tabs.
