Samsung has yet to roll out its Android 16-based One UI 8 update to all devices, despite unveiling it alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE in July. The release of the fourth beta for the Galaxy S25 series suggests the stable version is on the horizon. Recent reports reveal that the update is now being internally tested on the Galaxy A73.

The company has initiated the internal One UI 8 testing process for the Galaxy A73, currently limited to Asian firmware versions, with the build number identified as A736BXXUAGYH3. Eligible devices reportedly include the Galaxy S series from the S22 to the S25, the last three generations of Fold and Flip models, select FE editions, a range of mid-tier Galaxy A models, and recent entries in the Galaxy Tab S lineup.
