Samsung has officially launched the M9 model, the flagship of its new generation smart monitor series introduced at CES 2025. The M9 model, which the company has brought QD-OLED technology to its Smart Monitor series for the first time, has a 32-inch panel offering 4K resolution. The monitor draws attention especially in terms of gaming performance with its 165Hz refresh rate.

The new M9 model comes with the artificial intelligence-supported “AI Picture Optimizer” feature, which automatically optimizes image settings according to the content type. This system improves image quality by dynamically adjusting the screen settings while playing games, watching videos or working.

The monitor can also upscale low-resolution content to near 4K quality and improve sound quality in real time according to environmental factors. Samsung M9 provides direct access to platforms such as Netflix and YouTube with its built-in application support.
Cloud-based games can also be played via Samsung TV Plus and Samsung Gaming Hub without the need for any console or computer. This feature allows the device to be used as both a media center and a gaming platform.
The monitor, which draws attention with its thin metal body of 9.9 mm thickness, reminds us of Apple’s Studio Display model in terms of design. However, while Apple’s monitor only has tilt adjustment, the M9 offers both height and pivot adjustment. This puts the M9 one step ahead in terms of ergonomics.
With SmartThings integration and multi-view support (Multi View), the M9 functions not only as a screen but also as a smart home control center. The Multi Control feature, which allows switching between Samsung devices, is also included in this model.
The updated M7 and M8 versions, along with the new M9 model, are also available for pre-order on Samsung’s official website. The price of the M9 has been set at $1600. Shipping will begin on July 11 with free shipping.
Payment options include upfront payment, interest-free installments over 24 months ($66.67 per month), or four biweekly installments of $400. Samsung is also offering $300 in on-site spending credit to M9 purchasers, delivered via email within 35 days of delivery.
