Samsung May 2024 update comes with dozens of bug fixes for the Galaxy S24 series
The Android security update, first released by Google for Pixel devices every month, is later rolled out to phones and tablets by companies like Samsung. Now, along with the update released by Samsung, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra have received the new May 2024 update. According to update details, the May 2024 update fixes forty-five security vulnerabilities.
The update, which does not add any new features, was released solely focused on security. The security package, released throughout Europe and America, comes with software version S92xBXXS2AXD6. While the May 2024 update comes with a download size of nearly 300 MB for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+, it exceeds 500 MB for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
While some users were expecting an improvement regarding the complaint about shortened battery life, this security update does not bring any fixes other than security issues. If you want to download the update, expected to be rolled out to more devices in the coming days as usual, you can go to the Software and update section in the Settings app of your Galaxy device and click on the Download and Install button.
