Samsung releases One UI 5.1.1 and One UI 5 Watch to more

A few weeks ago, Samsung held a major Galaxy Unpacked launch event. At the event, the company launched a lot of new devices, including Z Fold5, Z Flip5, Tab S9 series, and Watch6 series. These devices come with the newest features and updates, One UI 5.1.1 and One UI 5 Watch. Now, Samsung has decided to bring the latest updates to older devices. Samsung One UI 5.1.1 and One UI 5 Watch update will be available for several devices

The South Korean company released new updates with a lot of new features. While the owners of new devices can experience these features, Samsung‘s upcoming update will let older devices receive the same features. According to the announcements, the One UI 5.1.1 and One UI 5 Watch updates are coming for older foldables, tablets, and smartwatches.

Samsung announces, “In order to provide a more seamless and enhanced device experience to users, the One UI 5.1.1 software update will come to Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 devices starting this month, with Z Fold3, Z Flip3, Z Fold2, and Z Flip devices receiving the update sequentially.”

It adds, “Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, Tab S8 Ultra, Tab S7, Tab S7+, Tab S7 FE, Tab S6 Lite, Tab A8, Tab A7 Lite, Tab Active3, and Tab Active4 Pro users are also set to enjoy several new user-centric features as part of the One UI 5.1.1 update. In addition, Galaxy Watch5, Watch5 Pro, Watch4, and Watch4 Classic users will experience key updates from the One UI 5 Watch update.”

1. Enhanced Flex Mode with adjustable angles between 75° and 115°.
2. Flex Mode Panel icon floats on the screen for easy access and customization.
3. Media play bar button with fast-forward and rewind during Flex Mode.
4. Single-tap rewind or fast-forward using personalized Flex Mode Panel Toolbar.
5. Open Multi Window in Flex Mode for multitasking.

More Versatile Device Experiences:
6. Pop-up window for Samsung Internet while watching videos, snap into place by dragging.

7. Switch from pop-up window to Multi Window for split view.
8. Two-handed drag and drop on main screen for easier app organization.
9. Taskbar on main screen for quick task switching (up to four recent apps).

New Features in One UI 5 Watch for Galaxy Watch5 and Watch4 series:
10. Sleep Insights UI displaying sleep score, phases, snoring hours, and blood oxygen levels.
