The long-awaited update for Samsung users is finally approaching. The official release of One UI 7 is imminent, and this update won’t just introduce new features—it will also address a long-standing gap in the Samsung ecosystem.
Good Lock Will Finally Be Available for Everyone
Samsung’s popular customization app, Good Lock, will become globally accessible with the launch of One UI 7. Originally released in 2015, this app was limited to select regions for years, but now it will be available to all users worldwide.

Earlier this year, Samsung confirmed that Good Lock would no longer be restricted to certain regions. However, an exact release date for its global availability has yet to be announced. Still, it is expected to roll out soon after One UI 7 starts reaching users.
Good Lock is a powerful customization tool that allows Galaxy device users to revamp their UI entirely. Initially developed to enable modifications that were once only possible through custom ROMs, it has become a key reason why Samsung has built such a loyal user base over the years.
To check if Good Lock is available for your device, you can search for it in the Galaxy Store. Once One UI 7 is released, the app will also be available on the Google Play Store for easier access.
