Samsung releases critical updates for three more models

Samsung has begun the countdown for the One UI 8 patch. The company continues to release additional patches aimed at improving user security. In line with this, the South Korean manufacturer has released the August 2025 security patch for three more models.

August 2025 update released for the Galaxy S22 series

The latest Samsung models to receive the August 2025 update are the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra. The new patch comes with build numbers S901NKSS7FYG8, S906NKSS7FYG8, and S908NKSS7FYG8. It’s initially available for South Korean variants. It may be available in more regions in the coming days.

If the update notification hasn’t arrived automatically on your device, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If you still don’t see the update after this, you may need to wait a bit longer, as the patch may not have reached your region yet.
