Samsung has shared updated data showing the widespread use of Galaxy AI features in its new devices. According to the company, 70 percent of Galaxy S25 users are actively using AI-based Galaxy AI tools. This rate highlights the rapid shift in user habits following the launch of the Galaxy S24 series last year.
Most-Used Galaxy AI Features Revealed
At the Galaxy Unpacked event held on July 9th, Samsung announced its goal to deliver Galaxy AI systems to 400 million devices by the end of the year. This represents a doubling of the figure compared to 2024.

It is stated that AI features will not be limited to smartphones but will be integrated across the entire ecosystem, including tablets, wearables, foldables, and augmented reality headsets.
Circle to Search is among the most-used features within Galaxy AI. 54 percent of Galaxy S25 users are actively using this tool. This feature, which allows users to search by circling any object on the screen, has quickly become one of the most popular tools.
Second in line is Photo Assistant. While only 13 percent of users in the Galaxy S24 series use this feature, this figure has risen to 26 percent among Galaxy S25 users. Photo Assistant simplifies tasks like editing images, removing objects, and changing the background with AI support.
One-third of Galaxy S25 users prefer the Now Brief feature. This tool allows users to quickly summarize long content and access key information in a visually simplified form. Samsung’s statement noted that the most notable growth, aside from these three features, comes from Google Gemini. The number of users of Google’s AI model Gemini in the Galaxy S25 series has tripled compared to the S24 era.
The Galaxy AI system’s reach to more users is being supported by new devices. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 models, unveiled at the event, come with the One UI 8 operating system. This software version also brings new artificial intelligence functions.
