Users who send their devices to Samsung by mail will have their phones evaluated in three categories: “Excellent,” “Good,” and “Recycling.” Based on the evaluation, users will be provided with a suitable compensation amount.
List of Eligible Devices for Sale:
- Galaxy S Series: S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, S22, S22+, S22 Ultra, S23, S23+, S23 Ultra
- Galaxy Z Series: Z Flip 3, Z Flip 4, Z Flip 5, Z Fold 3, Z Fold 4, Z Fold 5.
Samsung has announced plans to expand the program beyond South Korea to other countries, though it hasn’t specified which countries will be included. If the program goes global, the aim is to make it easier for users to evaluate and sell their second-hand devices.
With this move, Samsung aims to help users easily evaluate their old devices and contribute more to sustainability efforts. It remains uncertain whether this system will be introduced in Turkey.
