Leaks revealed on the X platform claim that Samsung’s new variable focal length camera system is called the HP-B. Its most striking feature is its 200MP camera sensor and, most importantly, its mass production has begun.

The leak also includes a GIF showing variable optical zoom from 3x to 7x, autofocus, and prism-based OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). However, it’s not yet clear whether this animation directly depicts Samsung’s new HP-B camera or simply a general visual demonstration of how the technology works.

Previous reports indicated that Samsung developed this advanced camera system not for its own Galaxy smartphones, but for supply to other smartphone brands, including Chinese manufacturers. This information, combined with leaks regarding the Galaxy S26 series, suggests that the HP-B camera is highly unlikely to appear in the Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, or Galaxy S26 Ultra.
