The countdown for Samsung’s much-delayed One UI 7 update has begun. The South Korean company is expected to first start the beta phase and later release the stable version. Recently, evidence has emerged that One UI 7 is being tested internally with some devices on Samsung’s servers.

Samsung’s One UI 7 Roadmap Revealed

According to sources close to Samsung, SamMobile has shared the roadmap, which reveals that the One UI 7 beta version will be released for the Galaxy S24 series in the first week of December. About two to three weeks later, the same process will begin for the Galaxy S23 series.

The beta testing could last up to two months, meaning the stable version might be released by February 2024. Furthermore, it is stated that the Galaxy S21 series will not be eligible to participate in the beta process. As for the Galaxy S22 models, there is no clear information yet.

However, this does not mean that the devices not participating in the beta process will not receive the stable version. If your phone is within Samsung’s software support, you will eventually receive the stable update.

• The Galaxy S24 will receive the first public One UI 7.0 beta in the first week of December, with tests taking place in select regions.
• The Galaxy S23 series will join the One UI 7.0 beta program at least 2-3 weeks later.
• The One UI 7.0 beta program could last up to two months, with the stable version expected in February 2024.
• The Galaxy S22 series may or may not gain access to the One UI 7.0 beta.
• The Galaxy S21 will not have access to the One UI 7.0 beta.
