Samsung’s long-developed home robot Ballie, which was first introduced in 2020, will be available for sale in the US this summer. The pre-registration process for the robot, which was re-introduced at the CES 2025 fair, has begun on the brand’s official website.
Samsung’s smart home robot Ballie will be available for sale
Designed in a round shape, Ballie moves easily around the house and acts as a personal home assistant. The device includes hardware such as a projector, speaker, microphone and camera.

Thanks to this hardware, the robot can both interact with the user and react by analyzing its surroundings. It also works integrated with Samsung’s home automation platform SmartThings and can control connected devices in the house. Thanks to this infrastructure, it analyzes not only voice commands, but also visual data, changes in the environment and camera images.
The main difference that distinguishes Ballie from its peers is that it is equipped with artificial intelligence capabilities. Google’s multi-modal artificial intelligence model Gemini has been specially integrated into Ballie. In addition, it is supported by Samsung’s own developed large language models.
Ballie can make suggestions according to the user’s mood. For example, when the user says “I’m tired”; it gives exercise recommendations, optimizes the sleep environment and monitors the sleep pattern according to information received from reliable sources.
Samsung has not yet announced the price of Ballie. The official release date and price of the device will be announced in the coming days. So what do you think about this product? You can easily share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
