Saudi Arabia is making an important move to strengthen itself in the field of artificial intelligence. The artificial intelligence initiative Humain, announced by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, will sign multi-billion dollar strategic partnerships with Amazon, Nvidia and AMD. The agreements were announced during US President Donald Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia has made a huge investment in artificial intelligence
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is establishing a comprehensive artificial intelligence region called “AI Zone” together with Humain. This investment of approximately $5 billion includes special servers, advanced network infrastructure, training and certification programs.

AWS has also committed to providing access to artificial intelligence solutions for Saudi Arabia-based initiatives. This project will be implemented independently of Amazon’s previously announced $5.3 billion data center investment.
Nvidia will ship 18,000 new generation AI-focused GPUs to Humain. The hardware sent by Nvidia will form the backbone of a 500-megawatt data center.
AMD is also entering into a $10 billion AI partnership with Humain. As part of the agreement, another 500 megawatts of AI computing capacity will be established within five years. This infrastructure will be supported by AMD’s high-performance AI hardware and open-source ROCm software.
Investments are not limited to these collaborations. Saudi Arabia-based DataVolt will invest $20 billion in AI data centers and energy infrastructure in the US. It was also announced that Saudi Arabia will participate in NASA’s Artemis II mission.
