Czech automaker Skoda has achieved a significant milestone for the automotive industry. The brand announced the production of its 4 millionth SUV since launching the Skoda Yeti, its first modern SUV, in 2009. This achievement demonstrates Skoda’s rapid adaptation to changing market trends and its expansion of SUV options in its product line.
Skoda Produces 4 Million SUVs
Skoda’s current product range consists of 12 model series, seven of which are in the SUV segment. SUV models account for more than 55 percent of the brand’s total vehicle deliveries. In the Turkish market, SUV models accounted for 41 percent of Skoda sales between January and August.

The brand’s electric SUV models continue to achieve sales success. The fully electric Skoda Elroq, launched just one year ago, has become one of the most popular electric vehicles in Europe. The renewed Enyaq family is also continuing its sales success. The company reported that 72,000 electric Skoda models were sold in Europe in the first half of this year.
Skoda SUVs are manufactured at facilities in various countries, including the Czech Republic, India, Ukraine, and Vietnam. Models developed and manufactured in India are contributing to the significant increase in sales in the region.
In particular, assembly of the Kushaq has begun in Vietnam. The company will continue its electrification drive without slowing down. By 2026, the brand’s smallest electric SUV, the Skoda Epiq, and its new flagship model, the Space, based on the seven-passenger Vision 7S concept, will also be launched.
