Last October, MediaTek announced the new Dimensity 9400, which has become the most powerful chip today. However, it seems that the brand is already preparing for a new launch. The company is working on the Dimensity 9400 Plus, which has not yet been officially announced. Important information about the new processor has started to emerge.
According to the information shared by Digital Chat Station, the brand’s new chipset could be released very soon. However, the new processor will take part in the launches of many Chinese brands. Here are the details
MediaTek Dimensity 9400 will be in many Android phones
Allegedly, the Vivo X200 series and the new Oppo Find X8 series will be the first devices with the new MediaTek chip. Oppo is expected to announce the new Find X8U, Find X8 mini and Find X8s, all three with the same processor. But in addition to Oppo and Vivo, Redmi, Realme, iQOO and OnePlus are also expected to bring new models with the manufacturer’s new chip.
Although it has not yet been 3 months since MediaTek released the Dimensity 9400, the arrival of the Plus model may be a sign of the brand’s attempt to keep the distance between Qualcomm, its biggest competitor, short. The Dimensity 9400 Plus is expected to compete directly with the Snapdragon 8 Elite series.
Although there is no more information about the technical specifications of the new MediaTek model, the company is expected to repeat the strategy we saw at the Dimensity 9300 Plus launch. In other words, we will encounter a chipset that can reach slightly higher CPU and GPU frequencies than its predecessor and has an improved APU.
If MediaTek chooses the same time window as the 9300 Plus, in addition to repeating the strategy, the Dimensity 9400 Plus will only be released in the second quarter of 2025, between May and June.
So what do you expect from MediaTek’s new processor?
