The countdown has begun for iQOO’s upcoming Neo 9 series, which is set to be released soon, according to reports. So far, leaked information suggests that the devices will host flagship features while maintaining an affordable price. But how will these smartphones look?
iQOO Neo 9 design revealed
Digital Chat Station, known for leaking information in the industry, has revealed the design of the iQOO Neo 9. According to the leaks, the smartphone will feature a screen with slim bezels and a hole-punch design. On the back, there will be a camera setup housed in two oval modules. Currently, the camera specifications of the device are not known.
The series is expected to run on the Android 14-based OriginOS 4 interface right out of the box. In addition to that, the standard model is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The 4nm architecture chipset includes 1x 3.36 GHz ARM Cortex-X3, 2x 2.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A710, 2x 2.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A715, and 3x 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores, along with an Adreno GPU.
As for the Pro model, it will feature the recently introduced MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor. The 4nm architecture processor consists of 1x 3.25 GHz Cortex X4, 3x 2.85 GHz Cortex X4, and 4× 2.0 GHz Cortex A720 cores, in addition to an Arm Immortalis-G720 MC12 graphics unit.
Both smartphones will offer up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Finally, the devices are expected to debut in China in December, with their global release dates currently uncertain.
