Qualcomm is preparing to make a bold move in the PC market with its new generation Snapdragon X2 series processors. These ARM-based chips, focused on mobility and energy efficiency, will directly compete with Apple’s M-series processors. According to leaked information, there will also be a higher-performance model in the Snapdragon X2 family, referred to as Ultra Premium. Details are in our article…
Qualcomm’s New Snapdragon X2 PC Processor Leaked: Ultra Premium Model on the Way!
As you know, the Snapdragon X series is being developed to be fully compatible with the Windows 11 AI+ PC ecosystem. The great thing about these chips is that they support Microsoft’s automatic super-resolution (Auto SR) technology, which enhances the image quality and frame rates of games.

Qualcomm’s ARM-based processors stand out for their low power consumption and AI-powered features. However, in multi-core tasks, they fall behind AMD Ryzen and Intel Core X86 processors in terms of performance. Qualcomm is working on a new chip, codenamed SC8480XP. This project, developed under the code name “Glymur,” could be part of the high-performance Snapdragon X2 Ultra Premium model.
In short, Qualcomm aims to offer a stronger and more efficient alternative for laptops with its next-generation processors. We expect the Snapdragon X2 series to bring significant innovations, especially for users focused on AI-powered applications and battery life.
