After being ridiculed all over the internet, Paramount backed down and returned with an improved version, still seen today in new films, even the third film produced by Disney. At the year-end box office, Sonic 3 was recognised as the true king of the charts. This was actually a surprise that no one expected because of the first bizarre trailer video.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Mufasa: The Lion King at the box office!

In the year 2024, Sonic 3 is in competition with the live-action film Mufasa: The Lion King managed to beat Disney by a few days, even with a surprising lead in all cinemas for the release of the film. The third film in the series was released this week and is already approaching $70 million at the worldwide box office.

The first film was not very successful at the box office. But it still achieved very pleasing results for the beginning. Because it was due to these results that the universe of the series has already expanded to three films, a series about Knuckles and some new games. It is also worth reminding that the fourth film of the series is already in development.
