Sony has added a new colour option, Midnight Black, to its PS5 5 accessory range. Popular accessories such as PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge, Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore will now be available in black. This new look, which gamers have been waiting for a long time, will be released on 20 February and the pre-order process has started today.
What do the Midnight Black accessories for PS5 offer?
Sony’s new Midnight Black series is technically identical to existing models except for the design innovation. This update, which does not change the user experience, stands out as a purely aesthetic revision. However, it offers a stylish and modern alternative for those who are tired of the classic white design.
Here are the updated accessories:
- DualSense Edge: The PlayStation 5’s advanced, customisable controller is now available in black. This model, which stands out with its interchangeable buttons and adjustable sensitivity, goes on sale with a price tag of $199.99.
- Pulse Elite Wireless Headphones: Sony’s wireless headphones with high-quality sound are now available in Midnight Black for $149.99.
- Pulse Explore Wireless In-Ear Headphones: The compact design of these in-ear headphones combines portability and high-end sound. The new black version will be available for $199.99.
- PlayStation Portal: PlayStation Portal, which offers remote gaming experience, will remain the same as the white model with its technical specifications, while the new black version will be available for $199.99.
