Sony has added two new wireless headphones to its LinkBuds lineup. The Sony LinkBuds Open and LinkBuds Fit have some differences in both design and performance. The LinkBuds Open is an open earbud design that allows you to hear ambient sounds, while the LinkBuds Fit is a more traditional, closed wireless earbud. Here are the price and features of the new earbuds…
Sony LinkBuds Open and LinkBuds Fit price and features
First of all, Sony claims to have improved the wearing comfort of its new headphones. The main reason for this is the revamped “Air Fitting Supporters”. These wings allow the headphones to fit better in the ear while reducing pressure points, making long-term use more comfortable.
The LinkBuds Open model is similar to previous wireless earbuds with an open-loop design. However, with an 11 mm driver, this model offers more powerful bass and louder sound. There is also voice command support. What’s interesting is that no smart assistant is needed for these voice commands. The whole process takes place directly in the headphones. Skipping songs, changing the volume, etc. can be done easily with this feature.
LinkBuds Fit is an improved version of the LinkBuds S model released in 2022. This smaller and lighter model has a slightly lower battery life compared to the previous version. Offering 5.5 hours of use, the model can be used for up to 21 hours with the charging case. They also feature the same V2 processor and Dynamic Driver X driver as Sony’s flagship WF-1000XM5.
Both models are priced at $199.99. LinkBuds Open will be available in black and white, while LinkBuds Fit will be available in black, white and purple. What do you think about these headphones? You can write your opinions in the comments section below.
