One of the most notable games in the gaming world, Beyond: Two Souls, is being adapted into a TV series. Developed by Quantic Dream and released in 2013 for Sony PlayStation 3, the game garnered great acclaim for its story and cinematic narrative. Here’s what we know about the upcoming series adaptation…
Beyond: Two Souls series is coming soon!
Quantic Dream’s CEO, David Cage, officially announced that Beyond: Two Souls will be adapted into a TV series. Moreover, the famous actor Elliot Page, who portrayed the character Jodie Holmes in the game, will be starring in the project. The story will follow Jodie’s tragic journey from childhood to adulthood, as she grapples with supernatural powers and her relationship with Nathan Dawkins, portrayed by Willem Dafoe.

In a statement, Elliot Page shared that playing the game was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of his career. “I’m so excited to get the chance to reprise this character. This story offers a deep and powerful narrative,” he said.
Additionally, an incident from the game’s development process resurfaced with the announcement of the series. Quantic Dream had created a naked model using Elliot Page’s character design, which sparked the actor’s response. Following the incident, Page took legal action, and Sony worked to remove images containing the scene from the internet.
Beyond: Two Souls was a game that stood out for its deep story and gameplay dynamics. Compared to Quantic Dream’s other cinematic games like Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human, it presented a more straightforward narrative, making it one of the most fitting adaptations for a series format. Like other Quantic Dream games, its story does not drastically change.
The release date and platform for the Beyond: Two Souls series have not yet been announced, but fans are eagerly awaiting the adaptation. Feel free to share your thoughts on the topic in the comments!
