Electric motorcycle manufacturer LiveWire has introduced its new models designed for police officers to the public. LiveWire, which has separated from Harley-Davidson and started operating as an independent brand, has shown with this step that electric motorcycles can also be actively used in public service.
A special electric motorcycle for police officers has been introduced
The newly introduced models were developed to be used in tasks such as urban patrol and security applications. The vehicles include equipment such as siren systems, emergency lights and equipment fixing points for the needs of police teams.

Thanks to the silent operation feature provided by the electric motor, it will be possible to carry out operations in crowded areas without attracting attention. At the same time, it is possible to move very quickly in narrow streets and heavy traffic with its high maneuverability.
LiveWire emphasized that the electric motor system used in these models is more advantageous in terms of maintenance and operating costs. The instant torque production and fast acceleration feature offered by the electric motor provide advantages in urban tasks requiring emergency intervention.
The introduced models are named S2 Del Mar and Alpinista. Both models will be priced between $15,999 and $16,249. The bikes offer a range of up to 120 miles in urban use, a five-year battery, and a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
The company has already signed agreements with several police departments in the state of Florida. What do you think about this? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
