Redmi K80 Pro to Feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Processor
The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, expected to be introduced in China this October, will be the first Android phones equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. Recent leaks by Digital Chat Station reveal that two new high-end devices, the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro, are set to be announced as well.
The devices are anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 8 Gen 4 processors, respectively, with a launch expected in November. According to the leaks, the new flagship phone will feature a 2K flat OLED display and a metal frame. It will also have a round camera design located in the top-left corner on the back.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Redmi K80 Pro will include a triple-camera system, with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens. The device is expected to deliver high-quality photo and video performance.
Rumor has it that the Redmi K80 Pro will have a glass back cover but will still feature a metal frame. Although other specifications have not yet been confirmed, recent leaks suggest that the K80 Pro will come with a 6,600mAh battery and support for 120W fast charging.
