Spotify has announced a new playlist that allows users to discover live music events in their area. This playlist, called “Concerts Near You” and refreshed every Wednesday, is created in line with the user’s listening habits.

Thus, it allows users to be informed about the concerts of their favorite artists. The list includes 30 different songs each week, and in addition to the songs, details of the concerts and event links are shared directly.

Spotify’s new feature makes it easier for users to discover live music events that are locally accessible, while improving the user experience by offering personalized content. Songs based on users’ location allow them to follow the concert dates of their favorite artists in the region and attend the events.

Concerts Near You playlist as a service

Spotify has developed the Concerts Near You playlist as a service not only for users but also for artists. The playlist is available to artists as part of the Official Products & Live Events tab within the Spotify for Artists platform.

With this tab, artists and their teams can now manage merchandise sales, track concerts and live events, and view ticket sales. In addition to these features, Spotify announced that it will soon offer artists the ability to organize Listening Parties.

Spotify’s new service allows artists to track their non-music publishing revenue on a single platform. In this way, Spotify supports artists to develop more comprehensive and sustainable business strategies.
