The captured images of the vehicle, previously concealed behind privacy curtains, showcase frameless doors for an elegant entry and exit, as well as hidden door handles that suggest sophistication combined with aerodynamic efficiency.
A notable feature is the placement of the charging port at the rear of the vehicle. This decision is likely made for practical design considerations and user convenience. Another attention-grabbing detail is the Xiaomi logo prominently displayed on the door speaker.
Xiaomi’s automotive aspirations were officially unveiled on March 30, 2021, when the smartphone giant announced a massive investment of 10 billion RMB (approximately 1.28 billion Euros) in the first phase of its automotive venture. A total investment of 9 billion Euros is expected to be made over the next decade, signaling Xiaomi’s serious commitment to its automotive goals.
