Valve’s handheld gaming PC is getting more popular around the world. The gaming company improves the availability and more in the device. Valve announced that the Steam Deck is now available in four more countries. Especially, the handheld gaming console could be more popular in Japan, where handhelds have a large market. Valve’s Steam Deck will start shipping to Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan on December 17th. Here are the details about Steam Deck’s availability.

The gaming company launched the gaming handheld on February 25th. Although it faced some issues such as limited battery life, and shortages, the console succeeded to get positive reinforcement. With its large library, the console offers a lot of opportunities to gamers. While the Steam Deck is available only in the United States, Canada, the European Union, and the United Kingdom, it is now available in four more countries, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
According to the announcements, the new reservations and shipments will not affect the existing reservation queue and shipments in other regions. The first gaming handheld shipments will start on December 17th in Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan. Valve says, “Delivery times are expected to vary from a few days to a couple of weeks.”
Valve also says, “Starting December 1st, customers in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan who have already reserved their Steam Deck will receive email confirmations to finalize their orders. These orders will start shipping on December 17th.”
