The first CAD (render) images of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold2025 model, which we expect to be introduced in July 7, have leaked. The next generation foldable phone will have a much thinner body, a larger internal screen and an improved camera system compared to previous models. Here is the video and details showing the design…
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 has a thinner and wider screen! Here is its design and technical details
Firstly, if we talk about the design, Galaxy Z Fold7 will be only 4.5 mm thick when open and 9.5 mm thick when closed. In other words, there is a 1.1 mm thinner design compared to Z Fold6 and 0.4 mm thinner compared to Z Fold6 SE. However, Samsung’s new model will not take the title of the thinnest foldable phone on the market, as rivals such as the Oppo Find N5 (4.2 mm) and Honor Magic V3 (4.4 mm) are still thinner.
The inner screen has been increased to 8.2 inches, giving it a larger footprint than its rivals. The external display has also been enlarged, so the user experience is expected to be relatively improved. It is stated that it will be 11 mm wider compared to the Z Fold6 when open. Galaxy Z Fold7’s processor will be Samsung’s Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip.
It is also claimed that Exynos 2500 can be used in some regions, but this is unlikely due to Samsung’s special agreements with Qualcomm. On the battery side, no major changes have been made. The device is expected to have a capacity of 4,400 mAh, but significant increases in battery life can be achieved with efficiency improvements seen in the Galaxy S25 series.

The camera system receives an important update. The main sensor is increased to 200 MP resolution, continuing the improvements in the Galaxy Z Fold6 SE. In addition, the 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and 10 MP telephoto lens are retained. The selfie camera will have a resolution of 10 MP on the outer screen and 4 MP under the screen on the inner screen.
