Tecno Phantom V Fold is bigger than Galaxy Z Fold4
On the display side, Tecno’s first foldable device has a 6.42-inch LTPO AMOLED of 1080 x 2550px resolution screen with a 120Hz refresh rate when folded. When it is unfolded, Phantom V Fold features a bigger 7.85-inch LTPO of 2000 x 2296px resolution screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Compared to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4‘s display, it has a bigger one, but not bigger than the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, Honor’s Magic VS, or vivo X Fold+.
The new foldable phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+, which is a 4nm chipset, and equals the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, claimed. The Tecno Phantom V Fold comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage options.
In terms of camera, the Phantom V Fold has three cameras, including a 50-megapixel main, a 50-megapixel 2x zoom, and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera on the back. The phone also has two selfie cameras, a 32-megapixel on the outer screen, and a 16-megapixel on the inner screen.
While the Phantom V Fold features a 5,000mAh battery with 45W of wired charging support, it can recharge 40% in just 15 minutes, and a full charge in 55 minutes. The device will be available in Q2 in India first. The Phantom V Fold starts at INR 89,999 ($1,099) for the 12/256GB model and INR 99,999 ($1,222) for the 12/512GB variant.
