Tesla is rolling out new purchase perks in China this October. The offers target buyers of the Model 3, Model Y, Model Y L, and higher-end models. They include financing benefits, paint credits, free Supercharging, and even Full Self-Driving (FSD) transfer support.
Tesla incentives in China now include free Supercharging

The updated Model 3 comes with a stack of deals this month. Buyers get an 8,000 yuan insurance subsidy, plus five years of 0% financing. Through Tesla’s referral program, they can also unlock an 8,000 yuan paint credit, which helps cover the cost of premium colors.
Even better, October orders include 5,000 km of free Supercharging. It’s a rare bonus that adds real-world value.
Model Y and Model Y L get similar treatment
The Model Y is also eligible for zero-interest financing over five years and the same paint credit via referral. Tesla is clearly positioning it as a long-term buy for budget-conscious families.
Meanwhile, the Model Y L, a six-seat variant launched in August, qualifies for three years of 0% financing. It also gets the paint credit, keeping it on par with the standard Model Y.
Tesla FSD transfer returns for premium buyers
One major highlight this month is the return of the FSD transfer. Buyers upgrading to a new Model S, Model X, Model 3, or Model Y can carry over their existing FSD license. That alone could push many longtime owners to make the jump.
Here’s what Tesla is offering this October
- 8,000 yuan insurance subsidy for Model 3
- 0% financing: 5 years (Model 3, Model Y), 3 years (Model Y L)
- 8,000 yuan paint credit via referral
- 5,000 km free Supercharging
- FSD transfer for select premium models
These incentives are valid through October 31. With local competitors pressing hard, Tesla isn’t sitting still. Instead, it’s giving buyers more reasons to commit before the month runs out.
