This year’s nominations for the Emmy Awards, one of television’s most prestigious awards, have been announced. Among the productions competing in the main categories and technical categories, the standouts are Severance, The Studio, The White Lotus, and The Penguin. Severance is the most nominated series this year with 27 nominations, while HBO and HBO Max topped the corporate category with a combined 142 nominations. Netflix received 121 nominations.

HBO has made its presence felt with productions such as The Penguin, The Last of Us, and The White Lotus. The Penguin is one of the most notable nominations with 24 nominations, while The Studio and The White Lotus each have 23. For Netflix, Adolescence is the most prominent series with 13 nominations.
The 77th Emmy Awards will be held on September 14, 2025. The Best Drama Series category includes productions like Severance, The White Lotus, and The Last of Us, as well as newcomers like The Pitt, Paradise, and Andor. The standouts in the Comedy Series category include The Bear, The Studio, and Only Murders in the Building.
Productions like Adolescence, Black Mirror, and The Penguin are competing in the Miniseries or Anthology category. Colin Farrell, Stephen Graham, and Jake Gyllenhaal received acting nominations in this category. Cate Blanchett, Rashida Jones, and Michelle Williams were among the leading actresses in the category.
Severance garnered notable nominations not only for Best Drama Series but also for Supporting Actor. Zach Cherry, Tramell Tillman, and John Turturro were among the nominees for Supporting Actor, while Patricia Arquette was nominated for Supporting Actress. The White Lotus received both supporting actress and male supporting actress nominations, with Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, Sam Rockwell, Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, and Aimee Lou Wood all receiving nominations.
Jeremy Allen White (The Bear), Jason Segel (Shrinking), Martin Short (Only Murders in the Building), and Seth Rogen (The Studio) were nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series. Uzo Aduba, Kristen Bell, Ayo Edebiri, and Jean Smart were among the nominees for the Best Actress category.
The Bear, Shrinking, and The Studio also stood out in the supporting actor categories. Harrison Ford, Michael Urie, Kathryn Hahn, Catherine O’Hara, and Bowen Yang were nominated in these categories. The reality competition and talk show categories featured familiar shows from previous years, such as RuPaul’s Drag Race, The Amazing Race, and The Daily Show.
