Moana 2 is on its way to Disney+
One of the highest-grossing productions of 2024 and attracting great attention with its worldwide gross of over $1 billion, Moana 2 will be available to watch on Disney+ starting March 12. The film brings Moana and Maui together again after three years. However, this time they are accompanied by an unexpected group of sailors. Moana receives a mysterious call from her ancestors, and this call takes her on an epic journey to the unknown, dangerous waters of Oceania.

The film is directed by David G. Derrick Jr., Jason Hand and Dana Ledoux Miller. All three names made their directorial debuts with this project. Lin-Manuel Miranda, who composed the music for the first film, has been replaced by Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear.
In the voice cast, Auli’i Cravalho (Moana) and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (Maui), who brought beloved characters to life, are returning. The film also stars Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda, Temuera Morrison, Nicole Scherzinger, David Fane, Hualālai Chung and Rose Matafeo.
