With the launch of Samsung’s new Galaxy S25 Ultra model just around the corner, leaks continue to make headlines. However, the latest information isn’t very promising for European users. The version with 16GB RAM is reportedly going to be exclusive to the Asian market. Here are the details…
16GB RAM Model Will Only Be Sold in Asia!
One of the reliable leak sources, Chunvn8888, suggests that Samsung will only release the Galaxy S25 Ultra model with 16GB RAM in China, South Korea, India, and Vietnam. If this information is accurate, the most powerful version available for users in Europe and other markets will be limited to 12GB RAM.

Since the Galaxy S24 Ultra also came with 12GB RAM, this won’t be a significant upgrade for most users. However, the 16GB RAM option was expected to be one of the major advantages of the new generation device. Samsung’s decision to create regional hardware differences in such a flagship device could draw criticism.
Leaked images also suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen might lack Bluetooth support. If this is true, features like motion control, remote camera shutter, and quick screenshot capture could be disabled.
Additionally, it is stated that the new S Pen will have 4,096 pressure levels, but the pen’s tip thickness has increased to 1.5mm, compared to the previous 0.7mm tip on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This change might affect the writing and drawing experience.
Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy S25 Ultra at the Unpacked event on January 22, where all the technical details and regional hardware differences will be clarified.
What do you think about Samsung’s decision to keep the 16GB RAM model exclusive to Asia? How do you think this will impact the brand’s global strategy? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments!
