The list of best-selling vehicles in the world in 2023, published regularly every year by JATO Dynamics, has been published. While last year’s leader fell to second place, Tesla Model Y is by far at the top of the list. This is the first time an electric car has topped the global rankings
Best selling vehicle of 2023
Tesla Model Y has made a huge leap forward in a year. It increased by 64 percent between January and December 2023. The car topped the list by selling 1.23 million units. Toyota RAV4 ranked second by increasing its sales to 1.07 million units, which was 1.02 million last year. Toyota ranks third. Toyota Corolla was on the list with 1.01 million.
