Top EV Selling Brands Worldwide
According to a recent report by Car Industry Analysis, Tesla remains the top-selling EV brand globally for the January-September 2024 period, with a total of 1,293,656 units sold. Right behind Tesla is the Chinese manufacturer BYD, which sold 1,169,579 units during the same period.
There’s a significant gap between the top two brands and the rest. The third place holder, Geely, sold 507,259 electric vehicles, followed closely by Volkswagen with 506,688 units sold.
