OnePlus will offer important innovations to its users with the OnePlus Watch 3, the third generation smartwatch it plans to introduce in the first quarter of 2025. The model, which has important features compared to its predecessor, will also be quite remarkable in terms of design and functionality. Here are all the details we know about the smartwatch…
OnePlus Watch 3: Coming in the first quarter of 2025
The OnePlus Watch 3 will actually look similar to its predecessor in terms of design. However, we can say that the biggest innovation will be an interactive rotating crown. The crown of the OnePlus Watch 2, which was added as an aesthetic detail but did not offer functionality, will be fully integrated in this new model. Users will be able to use this crown for both navigation and UI controls.
The watch will also feature an improved heart rate sensor and ECG support. With the inclusion of LTE connectivity, the device will be much more independent. Watch 3 will make a significant leap in terms of performance. The device will feature a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.
However, the device’s battery capacity will be at least 500 mAh, which will offer a longer battery life thanks to dual OS (RTOS and Wear OS) integration. Furthermore, the OnePlus Watch 3 will come with Google’s Wear OS 5 operating system. This system may also be available as an update for previous models (Watch 2 and 2R).
The OnePlus Watch 3 is expected to be unveiled on January 7, 2025, at the same event as the OnePlus 13 series. However, this information has not yet been confirmed. Although there is no exact information about the price of the watch, it is worth remembering that its predecessor, the OnePlus Watch 2, was available with a price tag of €249.
