Czech automaker Skoda unveiled the near-production concept of its new electric SUV, the Epiq, at the Munich Motor Show. Set to hit the roads in 2026, the model will be the smallest member of Skoda’s electric SUV family. The Epiq stands out with its compact dimensions, range exceeding 400 km, and fresh design language.
The new Skoda Epiq is here
Skoda’s 4.1-meter-long electric vehicle sits below the 4.4-meter Elroq. The brand claims the new model can comfortably seat five people and offers 475 liters of luggage capacity. The Epiq is also said to have a range of 424 kilometers on a full charge.

Using the MEB Entry platform developed by the Volkswagen Group for small electric vehicles, the Epiq comes with front-wheel drive and a standard 208 horsepower engine. The performance-focused vRS version is rumored to reach up to 223 horsepower.
The Epiq is the first all-new model in Skoda’s minimalist design philosophy, which it calls “Modern Solid.” This design approach was previously partially implemented in the updated versions of the Elroq and Enyaq. The new model features a front fascia the brand calls “Tech Deck,” T-shaped light signatures, and sporty bumpers.
The interior maintains Skoda’s renowned practicality. Simply clever solutions like bag hooks, fasteners, and hidden storage compartments enhance ergonomics. While the main control unit is a touchscreen, physical buttons are also used.
Skoda states that the Epiq’s starting price will be in line with its gasoline-powered sibling, the Kamiq. The Kamiq’s starting price is approximately €25,330. This pricing strategy demonstrates Skoda’s aim to make electric vehicles more accessible to the masses.
The production version of the Epiq is expected to be unveiled in mid-2026. In the same period, a large seven-seat electric SUV based on the Vision 7S concept will also be added to the Škoda range.
