Coolify has opened the doors to a new era in the computer world, introducing holographic fans after RGB fans. These new generation fans; not only consist of color-changing lights, but also create animated holograms using a rotating display with 96 LEDs.
The holographic fan era has begun
This allows users to display personalized logos, animations, and even dynamic graphics depending on the system’s status. For example, when the CPU temperature increases, the fans can change color and give a visual warning or work in sync with game performance indicators.

Holographic fans are offered in 120mm and 140mm sizes and have a high-static pressure design to provide improved airflow. However, they consume slightly more power than traditional fans and their power requirement varies between 2W and 6W.
Instead of a software that connects directly to the PC, these fans are managed by a mobile application over Wi-Fi. Thus, users can upload images and animations to the fans with their smartphones. This feature; allows visual effects to be managed without affecting PC performance, but can also make the installation process a little more complicated.
Coolify introduced its holographic fans at Computex 2024 and they are currently on sale for $45.99 each. This new technology brings a new dimension to computer components in terms of aesthetics and functionality.
