Huawei plans to unveil its long-awaited Watch GT 6 smartwatch at an event in Paris on September 19, 2025. The company has launched its new watch with the slogan “Ride the Wind.” The first promotional video for the Watch GT 6 was released today. Here are the details.
Watch GT 6: Advanced Features and Design
The tagline for the device suggests the watch will focus on outdoor sports and fitness tracking. The locations in the video also hint at its intended use. The Watch GT 6 is expected to feature enhanced GPS features using Huawei’s Sunflower Positioning System for more accurate navigation during activities like cycling, running, skiing, and golf.
These advanced modes, previously limited to the GT 5 Pro, now appear to be part of the regular GT series. Huawei is also promising improved battery life, with a stamina of nearly two weeks, in line with the performance of the Watch GT 5. The device will run HarmonyOS 5.1 and include standard health tools like heart rate and sleep tracking.
In terms of design, the GT 6 is rumored to feature an octagonal frame with sizes of 41mm and 46mm. While Huawei hasn’t confirmed the colors yet, leaks point to Sparkling Gold, Fluid Purple, Coffee Brown, Floating White, and Phantom Black for the standard model. The Watch GT 6 Pro is rumored to be available in Ice Gray, Amber Brown, Titanium Silver, Field Green, and Wild Black.
