Captain America: Brave New World Release Date: February 14, 2025
The first teaser trailer has arrived for Captain America: Brave New World, where Sam Wilson finally dons the Captain America mantle and shield.
Following the immense popularity of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series, the film depicts Sam Wilson as America’s new symbol, working alongside newly elected American President Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford following the passing of William Hurt.
The film’s main antagonist, The Leader, known from the 2008 film The Incredible Hulk, will be portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito. The cast also includes Carl Lumbly and Danny Ramirez, portraying pivotal roles in the film that brings the new Captain America’s initial adventures to the big screen.
Captain America: Brave New World will explore how Wilson navigates leadership and the challenges he faces as a superhero devoted to his country. Additionally, the film is expected to address themes of racism and discrimination through Isaiah Bradley’s Black identity.
